You know the project. You pick it up for ten minutes, put it down for three days, and when you come back the needle has vanished. (Possibly down the back of the couch - eek!) This needle minder is here to put a stop to that.

Created in collaboration with Nikki van Elden of Cotton Craft Designs, this needle minder takes its design from her Cassandra fabric. The colours are set in enamel on a gold backing, with a strong magnet underneath that snaps onto your fabric and holds your needle in place until you're ready for it. Nikki designed it to shine from any angle, so however it lands on your project, it's easy to spot and easy to grab.

It's made for the take-along projects: quilt binding on the train, hand appliqué in the sun, embroidery in front of the telly. Pop it on your work while you stitch, then move it to your project bag, tin or pin cushion between sessions. It also happens to be a very good match for anyone sewing with Cassandra fabric.
