These are genuine SOHMO Thread Snips, handmade in Italy, spring-loaded, straight knife-edge blade, exactly like our full-price snips. On this batch, you might find light surface etching beyond the usual handmade variation, minor marks from the manufacturing process or slightly skewwhiff engraving. None of that affects how they cut or how they spring open.
Loop them over your third finger, and they rest out of the way while you sew. Bring your thumb and forefinger together to snip, no picking up, no putting down, no hunting for scissors mid-seam. At 4½" with a straight knife-edge blade, they're still built for trimming embroidery threads flush to the fabric and snipping machine threads between seams, seconds and all.
Sold naked, no gift box, no foam insert, no microfibre cloth, just the snips themselves, which is how we're able to offer them at this price. Perfect if you want a genuine Italian-made SOHMO tool for everyday use and couldn't care less whether the finish is cosmetically perfect.
