Thread snips work differently from scissors, and once you've used them, it's hard to go back. The SOHMO Thread Snips are spring-loaded, which means the blades open automatically when you release pressure. Loop them over your third finger and they rest out of the way while you sew, inspect your work, or handle fabric. When you need to snip, bring your thumb and forefinger together and the blade does the rest. No picking up, no putting down, and hunting for scissors between cuts.
Handmade in Italy from the same tradition as the rest of SOHMO's Italian range, the Thread Snips feature a straight knife-edge blade - clean, precise, and sharp to the tip. At 4½" they sit comfortably in the hand without weight or bulk, and the knife-edge finish means they cut threads flush and cleanly without dragging or fraying. Ideal for trimming embroidery threads close to the fabric, snipping machine sewing threads between seams, and any situation where speed and precision matter more than brute cutting power.
Please note: these snips are handmade. Light surface etching or minor surface variation may be present and is considered part of the artisanal finish, not a defect.
