SOHMO Matchbox Scissors are mini squeeze scissors designed from scratch - the mould is custom-built and owned exclusively by SOHMO, which means these scissors exist nowhere else. The matchbox packaging is designed to protect the snips, store neatly in a project bag or travel kit, and make these scissors one of the most giftable sewing tools we make.
Squeeze the handles to open the blades, release to close. They're designed for quick thread trimming and single-layer fabric cuts during hand sewing sessions: English paper piecing, slow stitching, embroidery, needlework, or any hand sewing project you want to take on the road.
The small loop on the handle is designed for attaching to a wrist elastic, ribbon, or project bag charm - keeping them within reach and unlikely to disappear into the depths of your sewing basket. And because the blade length meets airline carry-on regulations, these are the scissors you can actually pack without worrying.
