The pin that laughs in the face of your iron.
You know the pin. The one with the plastic head that seemed fine, right up until you pressed over it and watched it melt straight into your fabric (and possibly your iron plate). SOHMO Glass Head Pins solve that problem permanently. The glass heads are melt-proof, so you can iron right up to them, press seams flat with pins still in, and keep moving without a mid-project pin-removal detour.
Made from nickel-plated steel with a fine 0.6mm shank, these are slender, sharp pins that glide through woven fabrics with barely a trace. At 32mm long, they're a true all-rounder: garment sewing, quilting, dressmaking, pattern cutting, general sewing room duty, all covered. The coloured glass heads are easy to spot against fabric and easy to grip, which matters when you're working fast or pinning something fine and light-coloured that hides regular pins on contact.
This is a SOHMO cult favourite for a reason. It's the pin sewists reorder without a second thought, and once you've pressed over one without drama, you'll understand why.
Packed in a reusable sliding-lid metal tin. 150 pins, and a tin worth keeping to repurpose once they're gone.
Please note: while nickel-plated, pins shouldn't be left in fabric for extended periods, particularly in humid or coastal environments, as corrosion may occur over time. Store in a dry place.
