SOHMO Flexible Magnetic Cord - 1m cut to length magnetic closure
Flexible Magnetic Cord is a great alternative to zippers, snaps and buttons. It creates a firm closure and can be cut to any length your projects needs.
Each pack contains 1 metre of 3.5mm neodymium magnetic cord, flexible enough to sew into a channel along a curve or a straight edge. Cut a piece to length, sandwich it between two layers of fabric, and sew along both edges to secure. Repeat with a second piece on the matching side and you've got a firm magnetic closure exactly where you want it.
Bag and pouch makers use this for custom-length closures on flaps, pockets and dividers where a fixed-size snap won't fit the design. Great for making accessible clothing, as the closure can be easier to use for those with dexterity issues. It's also a practical option for anyone making pocket or placket closures, since one length of cord can be cut down for multiple pieces. Not intended for use in toys.
