The SOHMO Decorative Scissors range was designed for crafters, sewists, and paper makers who want a decorative edge that's actually sharp, actually comfortable to hold, and worth keeping long-term.
All four pairs share the same design: coated stainless steel blades in black with the SOHMO logo laser-etched directly onto the blade, and lightweight ABS handles that keep the overall weight manageable. Decorative scissors have wider, heavier blades than standard scissors by nature - keeping the handles light makes a real difference to long crafting sessions.
Each pair arrives in a gift box with foam insert, microfibre cloth, and care card - well-presented enough to give as a gift, practical enough to keep for yourself.
The four blade types:
Zigzag - the classic pinked edge. Sharp, angular, and the standard finish for seam allowances on fabric that frays. Also widely used for decorative borders on felt, paper, and card.
Scallop 5mm - the detail-maker. A small, neat scallop for fine work - letter banners, bunting, felt ornaments, and any project where a delicate edge is part of the finished look.
Scallop 10mm - the statement-maker. At twice the size of the 5mm, the scallop is clearly visible. For decorative borders on clothing hems, cuffs, and collar edges, and larger fabric and felt projects.
Wave 18mm - A sweeping, fluid wave that moves in longer, softer undulations than a scallop or zigzag.
